The service
StlFixTool provides online tools to preview, convert, and repair certain 3D files. Some tools process files on our server; the STL Viewer and STL Editor process files locally in your browser. The STEP Viewer uploads a STEP file to create a low-resolution preview. Tool pages describe the relevant processing and price.
The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, suspend, refuse, or discontinue a feature, file, or request. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular processing time, or that every input file can be processed.
Your files and responsibilities
You must own or have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process each file. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes another person's intellectual property or other rights, or is intended to manufacture weapons. Do not use the service to violate applicable laws or another party's terms.
You are responsible for retaining your source files and confirming that the requested processing is appropriate. We may refuse, restrict, or delete files or jobs when needed to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
Conversion, repair, and output
A conversion changes file representation and can omit information the destination format cannot contain. STL describes triangles and does not preserve STEP feature history. STL to STEP produces faceted geometry, not an editable parametric CAD model. Repair tools can alter or remove geometry and may not resolve every defect.
Previews are reduced for online display and are not the full-quality output. Read notices shown before checkout, including triangle reduction or remaining repair issues. Inspect any downloaded output in suitable software before printing, machining, sharing, or other use.
You are responsible for checking dimensions, units, shape, orientation, mesh integrity, and suitability for your intended application. StlFixTool does not guarantee dimensional accuracy, a successful print, manufacturability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that an output meets regulatory or safety requirements.
Price and payment
Paid tools charge the one-time price displayed on the relevant page for a full-quality download. Previewing does not require payment. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle's terms and privacy notices apply to its payment processing. StlFixTool does not store card numbers.
A purchase is tied to the processed file and job. Follow the Refund Policy if the downloaded output cannot be opened or differs materially from the preview. Do not submit false payment disputes or use another person's payment details without permission.
File retention
Unpaid job files are deleted within 60 minutes. Paid source, processing, and output files are retained for up to 7 days for re-download and then removed from active storage, unless you delete them earlier using the private link on the success page or in the confirmation email. The associated paid-job database record may remain after file removal and has no automatic deletion schedule in the current application. You are responsible for downloading and securely retaining any output you need.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StlFixTool is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including lost profit, data, production time, or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the service.
To the extent permitted by law, StlFixTool's total liability for a claim relating to a paid job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, including any non-waivable consumer rights.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Moroccan law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any dispute will be handled in the manner required by applicable law.
